recessionThe word recession might be an economic term yet being so widespread and debilitating to the people, it has affected their ability to get proper dental care. There are a lot of people who would have otherwise have gotten the necessary treatments for their smiles that are having to forgo treatment due to rising costs. The costs of dental equipment and supplies has taken it out of reach of many people thus resulting in more teeth problems for the common Joe.
All around the world, people who have been getting the best care have put their plans on hold in view of more pressing economic needs. Food, housing and health care are more of a priority today than dental care so even the practice has been forced to raise prices due to commercial purposes. Reform to the overall health care system s needed for the mending of the broken system which would again allow more people to smile with a fuller set of teeth for the coming years.
